Scream 2 is 20 minutes longer than the original, for no real reason. There's a whole lot of unnecessary scenes, the cafeteria musical, the whole Helen of Troy play, Dewey and Gale's romance. Cut all these out and you're at a brisk 90-something minutes with honestly nothing lost.
